Sponsor a Pig

Do you care about

  • What you and your family are eating?

  • Where your meat comes from?

  • What has the animal eaten?

  • Has the animal had the best free-range and as close to natural life it could?

Why not let HappyPorkers have the day-to-day responsibility and you can benefit from tasty, slow grown and ethically home reared pork.

All you have to do is

  • Choose or agree a piglet at birth. All pigs are pedigree Tamworth, and birth notified with the British Pig Association (BPA)

  • Name it if you want. (Your pig will be tagged)

  • We will discus with you how you wish to receive your meat, to ensure you get the cuts you want and the tasty sausages you will love.

You will receive

  • Welcome email introducing you to your chosen HappyPorker

  • Monthly email updates on the progress of your HappyPorker

  • Visit your Happy Porker if you wish (recommend making an appointment to discus access) and feed them a treat, pigs love bananas

  • And when the time is right, approximately after a happy 24 Weeks of running about in the woods, HappyPorkers will arrange transport, humane slaughter, butchery and then delivery of your HappyPorker in a box all vacuum packed for your freezer

Cost

£60 deposit − secures you a pedigree Tamworth piglet.

£250 final payment − Whole pig butchered and vacuumed packed ready for your freezer. Delivery is by overnight carrier and all meet is fresh and packed in insulated boxes with ice packs.

A Tamworth at pork weight is around 65kg live weight, 45kg dead weight.

Not enough room in your freezer for a whole HappyPorker, then why not club together with relatives or friends and share a pig. You could even let HappyPorkers pair you up with a fellow pork enthusiast if you wish.
